Terms of use
The rules for using Get a Job in Tech. Keep it lawful, don't scrape us, don't abuse other users.
Last updated: 24 May 2026
These terms govern your use of getajobintech.co.za and any subdomains ("the site"). By using the site, you agree to these terms.
What we do
We aggregate publicly-listed tech jobs from third-party job boards (PNet, Indeed, OfferZen, etc.) and present them with our own summaries and metadata. We are not the employer, the recruiter, or the source listing — we are a discovery layer.
No warranty
Listings are provided "as is". We do our best to keep them accurate and fresh, but we make no warranty that any listing is currently open, paid as described, or legitimate. Always verify directly with the source employer before sharing personal information or signing anything.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, copy, or systematically extract content from this site for republishing.
- Use the site to harvest contact details of employers for spam or unsolicited outreach.
- Use the site to apply for jobs you have no intention of doing in good faith.
- Attempt to interfere with the site's normal operation, security, or hosting.
LLM crawlers and search engine crawlers are explicitly welcome — see our llms.txt and robots.txt for the canonical machine-readable allowlists.
Intellectual property
The site's design, copy, summaries, and code are © Get a Job in Tech / creategoodcontent.com. Job listing content (titles, raw descriptions) remains the property of the source employer or job board. We display them under fair-use / publicly-listed information principles and always link back to the source.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, damage, or consequence arising from your use of the site or any job you apply for through it. Jobs are job leads, not job offers.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page. Continued use after a change indicates acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the SA courts.
