As a VP & Staff Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing the software that supports billing, payments, and subscriber management, ensuring seamless operations across the network.
In this role, you will take ownership of critical areas such as the payments pipeline, billing engine, and integration layer. Your responsibilities will include making architectural decisions, writing production code, and collaborating closely with the CTO and other engineers. You will not be managing a team but will be expected to unblock technical challenges and guide the development process.
Key responsibilities include: • Integrating payment systems like SasaPay and managing revenue splits • Overseeing the subscription lifecycle and automated billing processes • Designing and implementing the integration layer for external systems • Making decisions on service boundaries and data models
