Teqleader Consulting is looking for a Senior SQL Developer to join their team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions. Your main focus will be on optimizing and tuning these queries to ensure performance efficiency while maintaining and enhancing existing database systems. You will also collaborate with team members to understand their requirements and provide effective data solutions.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include monitoring database performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring data integrity and security across all database systems. You will also be expected to develop documentation and maintain best practices for database management. As a senior member of the team, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior developers and assist in their professional growth.
This role is best suited for someone with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in SQL development and database management.
