Maftown Internet Services is a growing Internet Service Provider based in Mahikeng, specializing in fibre and wireless connectivity solutions. The company is dedicated to delivering high-quality networking services to both residential and business clients, including CCTV installations and WiFi systems. They are seeking a Network Engineer to enhance their operations and ensure service excellence.
In this role, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Ubiquiti-based wireless and fibre networks. You will also deploy and troubleshoot various network links and install CCTV systems. A key part of your job will involve continuous network monitoring and responding to any performance issues, often requiring after-hours availability on a rotational basis.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients. You will need to manage client expectations and provide on-site support and training. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing materials and tools, ensuring accurate tracking and minimizing waste.
To qualify for this position, you must have a Matric certificate and valid Ubiquiti certifications. Networking certifications like CCNA or CompTIA Network+ are also essential. This role is suited for someone who is self-driven, reliable, and comfortable working independently while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
